Borrowing Privileges
There are liberal borrowing privileges for faculty members. Here is a copy of the policy:
Reserve ShelvesThe library staff puts books and journal articles on the reserve shelves in the library for specific classes. Please let us know what you think your students will be requesting (based on your syllabus).

Scanning
If you would like articles or essays scanned for a class website (or for other purposes), we can do that for you and send it to you as a PDF file.
Custom Subject Guides
Librarians can work with you to create web-based, subject-specific or class-specific “Libguides.”
(For examples, see “Subject Guides in the Online Resource section of the library’s web page.). If you give us content and guidance, we will create the guide for you.

Tutorials on Library Resources
Information Literacy for your Students
Librarians can work with your students one-on-one in person, on the phone, or through email, to help them learn the use of library resources when writing papers for your course. We are also available to visit the classroom when a certain assignment is coming up. We can produce handouts or instructional materials, if you let us know what your students need.
Purchase Suggestions
You are our subject experts, so please make purchase suggestions for the collections. Let us know what items are needed specifically for the courses you are teaching, but also let us know about new books (or items in other formats) that are coming out in your field of expertise.
